  I am only new to the school with my son starting this year in year 7 but my experience so far has been fantastic. Having had older children at different schools I can say that Scotch College has made it such a seamless transition from primary to middle/high school. My experience has been that the school is very inclusive, helps the boys to integrate socially and places importance on education as well as sports and other interests the students may have. I guess the proof really is in the fact that my often silent 12 year old comes home daily chatting and recounting his daily activities (unheard of in the past!) I can highly recommend the College for anyone looking for engaged teachers and an embracing community.

  I’m so sorry for my parents who thought they were doing the right thing sending 3 brothers there . They are regretting this even today . Unless you are from a wealthy , well known family you will be treated totally different in a way which you feel uncomfortable. They wished they saved the money and not worked their guts out to pay the excessive fees. If your boy isn’t happy there , don’t push him . He won’t learn . That goes for any educational facilities. No great memories, only horror and abuse . Many in my year felt the same

  With one boy starting In year 3 (in year 12 now), then one in year 6 (graduating last year), sending our boys to this school is one of the best decisions we ever made. They have loved it and so have we. It has been worth every bit of the effort required - what a privilege..

  Good for the high achiever but if you struggle with learning then prepare to be forgotten. Biggest waste of money my parents ever spent

  Excellent school to send a young lad. Provides great life experiences and alternatives to the standard subjects. My boy particularly enjoys learning things such as marching, music, digital media, swimming on top of the core subjects. -T
